The fringed water lily is a native bottom rooted aquatic plant. It has bright yellow flowers and blooms between May and October it is a fairly fast growing plant and can produce a full new plant from fragments of ryzomes or stolones (small stems eminating from the main plant) as well as producing seeds. It can grow in water a few inches deep up to around 2.5 meters. The leaves of the fringed water lily are small compared to other lily species and reach a max size of between 3 and 15 cm, making them more suitable for smaller ponds.

Each plant will have roots and atleast 1 main stem and may also have leaves and flowers depending on time of year ( colder months plants will be bare stem and root ), The plants are posted bare root and do not come with a pot or soil.
